ASHDOWN has worked with many
different companies that sell through these channels. Some projects have
concerned brands, some private label. In most cases the projects have
touched on new product development, packaging assessment or brand
extension. Fieldwork has mostly occurred in the Case
History We organised a new product
development programme that began with facilitated work sessions involving
client staff. Role-playing enabled people to begin the process of
understanding different consumer segments. The same sessions generated new
product ideas to match the role-players’ imagined needs. Role-players
subsequently attended focus groups to watch real versions of consumers
they had imagined. This stimulated interest and involvement amongst the
extended team, not least helping with buy-in. |
