Who We Are
The ASHDOWN workshops are managed and led by Martin West and Alison Payne.
Martin WestMartin West founded ASHDOWN after over a decade working in international advertising. As Director of Research and Planning, latterly of BBDO International in London, he spent much of his time transforming relevant marketing knowledge into communication briefs. He founded the Account Planning Group. He has driven ASHDOWN not only down the path of information provision but also towards information use. Under his stewardship, ASHDOWN has shaped a range of communication media to transmit knowledge messages to internal audiences. |

Alison PayneAlison Payne has spent over 20 years helping clients develop and deliver effective brand, communication and marketing strategies. For most of this period she has been the Planning Director in advertising and direct marketing agencies. For the last four years she has worked as a Strategic Consultant at the Central Office of Information, providing advice and support to central government departments and agencies in the area of marketing communication and stakeholder engagement. A key part of her ethos is that most clients have much of the insight and resources they need to solve their problems within the organisation itself. |
