Workshop details

The Workshops use a modular design. Each module occupies about 45 minutes and follows this approach:

• Theme discussion
• Analytical Tool
• Syndicate work to apply the tool to participants’ actual situation
• Report back
• Open discussion
• Agreement on points

Most of a module therefore consists of the syndicate work, the feedback and the discussion. In many cases, the discussion, prompted by the analytical tool and the syndicate work, provides the most valuable experience for participants.

Although the workshop is a day away from work, it aims to deliver back into work participants who now have both a broader appreciation of the issues and practical equipment with which to deal with them. The tools sometimes take a direct approach, but others go in a more lateral direction
